The machine will keep moving forward even if you don't tilt control stick

Turning

You can turn the machine by tilting control stick

Boost Charge

Press and hold Boost Charge to slow your machine down and charge up its energy.

Boost Dash

Press and hold Boost Charge while turning to Boost Charge, then release to Boost Dash.

Drifting

While turning on a curve, press and hold Boost Charge to slide sideways.

Quick Spin

Wiggle

left and right to attack with a spinning motion!

Flying

If you tilt control stick

down, you'll fly up. If you tilt up, you'll fly down.

Perfect Landings

Angle yourself to land flat and even on the ground for an extra burst of speed!

Grind Rails

You can hop over to adjacent rails by tilting control stick

Star Slide

Stay right behind a rival and catch the twinkling stars they make to speed up!

Special Attack

When the Special gauge is completely full, press Special Attack to trigger your Special move.

Inhale/Capture

Press Boost Charge near an enemy to inhale and spit them forward or copy their ability.

If an enemy has an ability, you can copy it by pressing Boost Charge to inhale them.

Defeat and Accelerate

You'll speed up each time you defeat an enemy. Defeat many foes to pull ahead!

Revenge Mark

Take down the rider who defeated you to get a chance to power up!

Resetting Motion Controls

While using motion controls, press control stick

to reset your machine's orientation.

Hopping Off a Machine

Press and hold Special Attack to hop off a machine. If you see a vacant machine, try a swap!

Swapping to a Vacant Machine

Get close to a vacant machine and press Special Attack to quickly swap over to it.

Stealing Machines

Your rival is weak! Steal their machine by pressing Special Attack.

Your machine's about to break! Pick up some food to recover.
